For 10 days during January Manchester Arndale shopping centre, in partnership with shop fitters Clarke Gough and homeless charity Mustard Tree, created a retail space and invited people to donate pre-loved clothes.
Fashion brands, bloggers and stylists were on hand to create looks with their favourite pieces as the donations came in, and at the end of each day the store was emptied and the clothes were taken to help Manchester’s homeless and distributed via Mustard Tree’s retail networks.
The concept started in Brazil but has since swept across cities around the world.
